Before you get started

A few practical answers.

Can we use our agency’s branding?

Yes. The agency workspace supports your agency name, patch, mission and colors alongside J2Command branding.

Can deputies view schedules on a phone?

The workspace adapts to smaller screens. A downloaded pay period can also be opened offline; supported schedule edits sync when the device reconnects.

Will we receive sales calls after the demo?

No. We’ll contact you to arrange the demo you requested and answer your questions. You won’t receive follow-up sales calls or pressure to subscribe.

How do our employees get access?

Authorized supervisors invite employees from Personnel. Staff verify their work email and sign in with the permissions assigned to their role.

Can the payroll rules fit our contract?

We review your agency’s pay codes, cutoff times and approval process during setup. Your contract rules need to be confirmed and tested before payroll use.

How does support work?

Report issues through the contact route agreed during onboarding. Support scope and response expectations are established in your agency agreement.

Can we choose a one- or two-year contract?

Yes. Select your preferred term when requesting a quote. Prices are shown per year for transparency. Invoice timing, add-ons and final scope are confirmed in your agreement. A two-year agreement does not mark an unpaid second year as paid.

How is our subscription date tracked?

Agency billing administrators can see the paid-through expiration date and access their invoices. Requesting an invoice does not count as payment.
